dse starter motor help

ok peeps bit of help please ,
p38 dse runs sweet, nice drive just a nice rr till today went out to her and wont turn over ?not had any problems before today ,
so nothing on dash other then the normal stuff.

so turn key and you can here an electric click [not solenoid on starter ]
nothing happens ?

next I crossed the two main leads on starter as there is power to one side [screw driver across the two but nothing] don't even spark ?.

battery is new and tried with jump leads .

never had a starter just stop norm some sign .

any thing you think to try before a new starter ?.
