Quick question,

On a diesel P38, while coasting downhill (foot off the pedal), should the number 4 injector read 0 (zero) or should it read the same as CPS ? Injected fuel quantity is 0 (zero).

No fuel going in on the overrun so nothing to operate the needle lift sensor. Of course on the auto, as soon as torque convertor lock up drops out, fueling will recommence to prevent the engine stalling.

I thought so but was reading another forum where it was stated otherwise and became curious about it.

Cheers Datatek :)
