drilling square holes?

maybe theres a special tool, but is there an easy way to drill the square holes neatly that are required for all these numerous plastic rawl-plug fixings all over a landy?

So far I've been using a regular 5mm bit and tilting it off square on the two diagonals which makes a kind of rounded square bur frankly its a bit ****e.

(surprising just how different a Td5 bulkhead is to a 1988 jobby)

small file after drilling the hole or buy a hand operated nibbler and work your way out from the hole..........how thick is the steel?

If it's only the bulk head your doing just drill em using a drill slightly smaller than the A/F size of the square an open the hole up with a square file, worked a treat with mine. I'm still trying to find somewhere local that sells the insert things.
