door locks

Hi , Anyone got any tips on how to stop my door locks freezing up. they al
freeze up when it gets cold . takes half hour to defrost then with hair
dryer. now i leave the doors unlocked when its below freezing. not a good
idea. ive tryed covering them up best i can, which helps a little bit. i tryed putting deicer in the locks but that never helped any.

fill them with wd40

silicone based polish is best. Wd40 is only temporary.

By the time it gets frozen again, surely the key action will have removed all the polish?
