Does my FL have an Easter Egg?

those familiar with mobile phones may know the manufacturer some times "hide" functions called easter eggs. the other day with the rain ****ing down i had my front wipers on. the back one wasnt on.

i was reversing into a parking space at work and low and behold my rear wiper was on. is this a known (but not in the hand book that i can remember) function or is something mysterious happening?

Rear wiper comes on when front wiper is on and reverse is selected.

on the disco its an atuo function front wipers on when you ingage reverse back wiper works thats why make sure front and rear screens clear when car iced up

Haven't you a button on the dash to turn on the rear wiper? mine is next to the rear wash wipe one

yup but it goes on on its own automatically when the front wipers are on and you select reverse. not a bad idea in this country.

I know that it avactivates when you select reverse but I have never really noticed it working when I have the front wipers on unless I push the button on the dash
(mind you I have only had this motor for FOUR YEARS)
I'll have to go and check it now

The rear wiper only works automatically when the front wipers are on and reverse is selected, you still have to manually switch on when reverse is not selected.

your not alone mate. i drove a mondeo as a cab for 12 hours a day for 2 years before someone told me it had reach and rake on the steering. i had never even tried it as there was only one lever i thought it was just height. i pull and lift on all steering wheels from then on. lol
