Do I down size my tyres?

I have 5 almost new Enduro Runway A/T tyres on alloys 265/75 r16. I am fairly happy with them but they are not the best tyres, they are just okay. They are 'snow' rated but they are not half as good as the standard size General Grabber TRs I had on my old 90.

I am thinking of replacing them (cos I can) but cant make my mind up if I should down size to 'standard size' tyres or stay big.... a few reasons.

Speedo is around 10% out
Am I right in thinking it would be a little bit more nippy with smaller tyres?
Am I right in thinking my mpg would improve slightly?

Anyone down sized tyres?.... or am I just missing my lovely old 90 that would turn on a sixpence and was a better drive in snow and off road. I only go off road maybe 6 times a year and do 6k miles.

Any thoughts please?

use 235 85 16 TR's standard LRsize and minimal height difference

stay big.....my boys got bigger tyres on his rc monster truck

36/12.50/16 there big...

if you want to sell them you got give me a pm, could do with some to use for road use, save me muds
