Discovery Tyres Swap ?

Would any1 like to swap my offroad tyres for road tyres?the size of mine is 235/70/16 standered discovery alloy wheels ,would like around 205/60/16,would also pay a little bit of cash also or if any 1 got any good tyres lying around thanks, stephen pics on request

That's not a std. size for your vehicle and will affect the gearing, is that what you want?

Std sizes are 235/70/16 or 205/80/16.

Plus why the hell would you want to switch to such small tyres?

im stephen ,how are you? they are std. alloys but when i bought the car it had them on, they make the drive horrible there nobbly style similar to off road motor bikes so want std. tyres on ,i just need tyres not alloys and the treads are great thx

Not realy what he ment. You need to at least say what make and size they are and post a pic.

You need to rethink the size you want to fit.
The factory sizes would be 235/70 16 or 205/80 16.
Apart from the fact that 205/60 16 would look silly on the car you may not find any with the correct load index.

What are the advantages and disadvantages between the 238/70 and 205/80 ? and if you are currently fitted with 235 will the gearing be affected if you swap to 205?
