As the title suggests, I was wondering if anyone has used or had experiences using one of these little Bluetooth code readers? I’m looking to get a more accurate reading of coolant temperature and other things.

Before I go down the route of installing aftermarket gauges, I just thought I’d ask if these readers and their relevant apps would provide me with this information or are even compatible with the Discovery Td5?

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Jack

Thanks Stanley, that sounds promising. Any particular model or should they all be compatible with the Discovery 2? I could get the nt301 from my local Halfords today.
I am absolutely no expert on all this, I merely mention it cos mine a 520 pro has done me proud. the later 530 is supposed to be a bit better, altho it apparently had teething troubles.
Others on here especially @sierrafery know far more than I do.
Not only are they compatible with ALL LR products they are also compatible with Jaguars and for a smallish fee can be made compatible with other cars too, which for me is an enormous plus. The other makes such as Nanocom and Hawkeye come only compatible for one vehicle type and you have to pay money to unlock them for others, even within the LR range, which to me is a ripoff.

Only nanocom,or the ''classic'' hawkeye which is obsolete, the one available now on the market(Hawkeye total) has coverge for all LRs like Foxwell but with a marketing trick as it needs some "dongles" for RRS, Fl2, D3 or D1

OK I stand corrected.
So they don't give the dongles away for free then? Or do they?;););)
