Discovery S300Tdi?

Hi can anyone tell me about Discovery S300 Tdi i've seen one for £7200, M plate done 70,000 miles and in tip top condition. I have always liked discoverys and now the time has come to change my car.Can anyone give me any advice as I don't wont to get my fingers burnt. I had a Range Rrover in past on D plate and had alot of problems, it would cut out when driving, and the problem never got solved. But once you have driven a 4x4 nothing else can match it. So any advice on the discovery would be greatfully recieved as I don't know nothing about what goes on under the bonnet.

£7200 for an m plate is way over price! If it really is in tip top shape its morth paying slightly over the ods but personaly i wouldn't pay that much. Mileage isn't really a big issue with a 200 or 300 TDi because they really will go on forever. I've seen many touching 200k miles and still running fine. Main things to check are for regular services, off road damage underneath and obvious things like that.
I realise that prices differ depending on whereabouts in the country you are. Im in the north west of england and if you take a look in our classified section you will get an idea of price in this area.
Ther are 2 discoveries for sale in there at the moment, ones mine and the other is Roys, both are ES models in a similar price Range to what you have been looking at but both are newer.
