Does anyone have link to a "how to" as this is a job I am starting today?
I have googled, but not found anything except "removing the old mounts is a sod" :(.
Do you have to jack up/ support/ pack out the body or will it sit ok?

I assume the rear bumper has to come off ( and tow hitch)?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks for Pikey for coming over at short notice yesterday and giving me the benefit of his knowledge & Snifflebags for coming over today and imparting his wisdom (and leaving substantial amounts of flesh :puke:. Hope they heal quickly.

Still got a major??? problem in that the rear door posts seem to have sunk by about 10mm, (as can be seen on the last pic) and the rear crossmember is "kicked up" at the rear, making closing the door next to impossible. Mind you I havenet tried forcing it back down yet until all the patches are in place.
Any ideas on how to "lift" the rear door posts?

Have already been transformed into injuries incurred whilst fighting off bears (common event around Hants as everyone knows) as opposed to some-muppet-who-didn't-hold-on-tight-enough :D

acrow prop!!! and a big hammer!!

would you not be better taking boot floor out and removing tank? then you would be able to get better access to weld it up and make a proper job, maybe even quicker in the long run as the tin worm has got a fair odd!!
