Hi everyone, new to the forum.
Currently looking for the right vehicle to tow my race car and trailer and I am considering a discovery..
My budget is circa £3K and this is really all the car will be used to do, other than getting me out of trouble in the winter!
I would value any advice please.
I seem to have picked up the following points that I would welcome comment on please.
Td5 rather than V8
Manual rather than Auto (less can go wrong)
Lower spec models have less to go wrong
Sunroofs tend to leak
Chassis tends to rust
Good service history needed
Are there any models or years that should be avoided?
Disco 1 or Disco 2?
Should I consider a P38 instead?
