Discovery 200tdi and Defender 200tdi

Can someone tell me the difference between these two engines. Is one better to fit into a 90 than the other? The pictures I have seen they look different.

turbo & eggsauce is lower down on disco 200tdi so ya have to mod the downpipe to get it to fit in a 90/110.

i believe the disco lump has a bit more power anorl.

Discovery engine is supposed to have around 111 horseys, Defender version around 107. Not sure where the difference comes from...

Nice try but no prize. Defender has more torque in low range because, ratios are different. High range ratio's are the same. However Defender, has a better power to weight ratio because it weighs less than a disco. :doh:
