Discovery 2 Drive Train noise on over run

I hope some of you can help me with a noise that developed on a recent 750 mile round trip with my disco 2 td5 Auto. The noise only appears to be present on overrun but i did notice that on acceleration a couple of times there appeared to be a flapping/rattling noise which would then disappear.
I replace the front diff pinion seal before the trip and torqued the bolt up according to the manual.
The noise only started halfway through the trip so i managed to Get it home. Any help or advice would be greatfull.

Have you checked your UJ's, if you have grease nipples then always good to give them a bit of lube.

I've removed the front prop shaft and the noise appears to of disappeared but im not 100% sure its the prop shaft as it all seems to be free moving with no play :-/

see what front output bearing feels like after that front prop or front diff would be most likely

Hi James i have a new output bearing so im going to change that as cause. I removed the drain plug out of the front diff to check the magnet this was on the end of it the oil was changed about 800 miles ago would you say thats normal?
