I have a td5 ,year 2000 with the suspension going down occasionally,it is getting more frequent.Sometimes it won't come back up at all.Does anyone have any advice. could it be the air springs or the compressor.I was thinking about converting to coil springs but someone said it may affect the insurance and you may have to remove the boot seats. Does anyone have any views on this

do the same on the valve block, found in the black box on the chassis under the passenger seat..
converting to springs introduces insurance issues and you may have to remove the two boot seats
I have been told to get it calobated will this help or am i just spending money for no reason
To check if it's a "mamagement" or "executive" fault the first test you can do is to push the ORM switch.....if no warning sound and the passenger side is lifting normally then stops and the compressor stops too unfortunately I must say that U have an ECU or electronic connection problem, if the compressor is still working then the ECU does not receive the signal from the height sensor.....etc. Do that ORM thing and tell me what happenned.............or plug it into a testbook if you have one within reach to be sure........there are some other "unorthodox" methods to check out things but it goes with some struggle(e.g. to improvise a cable as to capture the signal from the faulty side's height sensor with the good side's connector, or to swap sensors, etc.....step by step to eliminate possibilities one after another) but is a too complicated to explain it here especially for a guy like me with a poor englishOMG can anybody help
I have had both ride height sensors replaced and the compressor and my TD5 Disco still wont lift on driver side the bags are fine and the pipes are fine I need my car on the road i am house bound without it as i am disabled PLEASE HELP
