Just tried cranking the engine then checking the plugs, they were dry, wouldnt start though, it spluttered a couple of times but wouldnt fire up, where has the fuel gone? is it dut to lack of compression, im going to do an oil change soon, ill crank the engine with the fuel pump fuse taken out to get the oil round the engine to see if i can get some compression back, then see if it will fire up, see how that goes.

actually, im not even going to waste 5 ltrs of oil on it, unless i pour it on it instead of in it and set fire to it, it will keep us warm for a while, more use than it is now!!!

how much?

I know the feeling mate , mine has given up right when I needed it , but you gotta stick and stay and make it pay, when its sorted run it untill it drops (prob about a week lol)

Have you tried an independant landy specailist rather than feckin with it yourself getting fed up?

The car has 4 very good mich tyres on good alloys, new exhaust, the shocks / springs look newish, (yellow shocks) polly bushed (yellow) excellent diffs and gearbox, went through MOT without even an advisory, interior is very good, just wont start anymore, im looking for 450 cash, must be worth that in spares.

If anyone wants it drop me a line at [email protected], thanks.
