got my bushes for my 1 link build and got it all planned out now.
Gona use a 1" bar for the main joint like the radius arm chassis joints.
1" inch bar has a silly sheer strength so it will be fine only thing that might go is the rubber bush, but they only cost 5 quid!
gona use 2 bushes per axle end like normal radius arms but in different positions, 1 behind at the bottom and one above.

Been working on stripping the Disco 2 axles today so I can start work on the brackets for the rear and the 1Link on the front.
Also been working on the front end, removed the winch bumper and the bash guard along with it so I can start work on building my new bumper.
The new one will be higher and further in than the old, plus it will incorporate light protection!

This is how its stands atm.

This is my new bumper and 1 link metal.

A sneek peek at my 1Link!

If you have ever wondered what Disco 2 shafts look like compared to Disco 1's.. here's you chance!

Well the rear needs a diff flange change as it s 3 bolt.
Brought a ball joint Insert from YRM to weld in the axle for the a frame balljoint.
The shock mounts are really low on the d2 axle, but are non pin type which I want so can be remounted in a better position.
And lastly need the trailing arm brackets making/welding

The front is going 1 link but you would just need to change the radius arm mounts. I've yet to check the panard and steering arm positions.
