Disco security-Thatchman approval.

Hi everyone....
I am in the process of buying a 2000 model Disco TD5.
I have contacted my insurance company and they want to know if the immobiliser/alarm is Thatchman approved?
I thought they would have been able to tell me!
Can anyone confirm if it meets approval?

Have a look at www.thatcham.org - all their ratings are shown.Are the insurance company insisting on Thatchem approval ? I recently had to insure my wifes RR seperately because her business activities were not covered on my motor trade policy.They wanted to know if the car had a Thatcham immobiliser - I said yes but I would remove it as soon as poss.They were not happy ! - but when I explained what crap it was they gave in and I removed it.
