DISCO 2 TD5 - AIR CON PULLEY SQUEAL - DELETE ?

As the air con pulley bearings are squealing I am thinking about deleting the air con pump by removing the compressor and replacing with a new pulley idler and bracket - any issues I should know about?..
I am in the Highlands so cooling a bit of a wasted luxury.

IMO that kit from the link is to remove the ACE not the aircon, for the aircon it's ERR6493, and you need non-aircon belt for that...though AFAIK the bearing replacement on the aircon compressor is not a killer

if it helps the OEM p/n for the D2 compressor is Denso 10PA17 ..widely used for many vehicles
