Rear Axle on D2 - 2004

Gents,
Took the wheels off yesterday and noticed that the there is excessive wear on the rear tyres. N/S inside edge and O/S outside edge. I bought the vehicle secondhand with new tyres all round 6 months ago so it is over this period the wear has taken place on the rear. I understand it is a fixed axle with no adjustment- has anyone come accross this?????
No noisy bearings or excessively worn bushes.

PS Booked in for measuring axle alignment!
