Changing the rear air bags on my disco 2 today. I have a hawkeye which i am told i can use to de pressurize the system before removing the old air springs. The only thing however i can find on the hawkeye is in the circuit test section which allows you to raise and lower each bag individually. Is this the bit on the hawkeye i need to use or is there another section that will completely de pressurize the system? TIA

Actually you dont have to use anything just undo the pipes if the vehicle is on stands cos the pressure is low then as there's no weight on the bags but if you want to be scrupulous use the lower command with hawkeye and this will release air out, no other feature for that

Ok thanks. Gave up with the haweye and just carefully undone the pipes at the compressor end to release the pressure. All done now, far easier than changing springs i found

....just carefully undone the pipes at the compressor end to release the pressure.
that was unnecesary as well especially that those o-rings can get hurt...let's hope not but i've seen cases when they leaked by being disturbed for that false reason that the air must be released from the bags which IMO is a non-sense...i've changed 3 pairs(not all on mine) without touching anything else than the connections at the bags without any problems
