Disco 1 Head Light Upgrade To Disco 3

hey all

is it possible to upgrade my series 1 disco to the newer type head lights and has anyone done it before? i found this on ebay DISCOVERY SERIES 2 TD5 V8 FACELIFT HEADLIGHT SET NEW OE on eBay (end time 27-Jul-10 12:03:59 BST) and was wondering if i could make them fit

Is your Disco I a TDi200 or a TDi300 ? Are you sure that your vehicle is worth having £350 spent on it on a non-essential?

Are there any new bits it needs - like brake discs & pads, suspension bushes, wheel bearings etc etc ?

the lights are for a pre facelift disco2 to make it look like a facelifted disco2, not a disco1. you can convert if you really wanted but its quite a bit of hassle apparently.

I converted my 300 series front indicators to Disco 2 prefacelift indicators.It is a little time consuming but looks good. Still amazing how some drivers still don't see it coming and pull out infront of it.

hello again and thanks for the reply's my disco is a 94 v8 3.9 with lpg i have just finished all the other work on it like rusty rear floor and wheel arches so i was just thinking of making the front look a bit better i wasn't going to pay £300+ i was going to get some used ones instead but i was just wondering if there could be made to fit or if i would have to change the wings and the front grill
