Hi guys.

Just wondered if anyone else could shed some light on the actual mechnacics of this.

I had a seized diff lock, not on the transfer box but where the steel slider went into the ally housing, i've managed to free this, but even when it's pushed the the far left, as if to lock the diff, there is NO actuall way of it moving the C bar/metal to move the linkage which engages/disengages?

I've manually move the bet of metal which the C shaped metal goes onto and have had the light for diff lock come on, and can engage/ disengage it but not when using the hi/lo/diff lever?

Added some pics, explained the best I could, PLEASE someone help this is so fustrating!

Thank you! :)

first off hi/lo cam ring needs pushing as far on as possible while levers held tight over to push spline out as much as possible then clamp bolt tightening, pivot eye bolt can the be altered in/out to give correct adjustment ,jack os front wheel up to check its locking/unlocking and it may need turning a little to allow diff lock to engage

May sounds silly but what/where is the pivot eye bolt?

and thanks for ur help i'll try it shortly

ok thanks should I adjust the pivot eye bolt once i have put the collor on fully or before?

Still not ####ing working, put the collar as far into the spine as i could whilst hi/low lever pushed into the diff lock side, now I can't even move the hi/low stick left or right!!!

sounds to me like its the lever on top thats fubared. I had that b 4. unbolt complete assembely from top of box and drop it in somee penetrating oil over night. next morning you should be able to start it moving but will be stiff. now strip it clean everything then re grease pop back together bolt back on gear box re assemble linkages and see what thats like.
