Did I fit my suspension the wrong way??

I think i've fitted my suspension the wrong way!!

I was just looking at this 90 on eBay..

land rover defender 90 truck cab ARB lockers winch challange truck | eBay

on the front suspension, the rubber gaitor is at the top, on the turret side..

I've mounted mine the other way.....i didnt even think about it when I done it!! did I fit it the wrong way? or it doesnt matter which way??

bollox... I did mount it wrong!! what a tw@t!

does matter rubber isolater if fitted do go to top ,otherwise theres not enough lip on spring plate to keep spring central

luckly I've only driven it about 20 miles on the road.....

still kicking myself for doing it! wtf was I thinking??!?!?!!?!?!? :doh:

now I have to take the air filter box out, move the expansion tank out the way, etc,etc...

luckly i dont have to touch the springs as it was a right pain having to wind the spring compressors soooo much!

I also didnt fit dislocation cones when I did it and then was kicking myself for not fitting it... but i cant be bothered to touch the springs now, so I'll just turn the dampers the right way and then if i find that i'll need the cones, then do it all again... :doh: :doh: but then, fit front and rear cones and -2 turrets and -2 rear droppers

for once there's something its not the landy fault! usually i swear a lot at the poor thing... now im kicking myself!
