Thinking about replacing them. Take off roof, side panels, cappings, remove all the rotten silicon smeared into the seams (grrr!), rebuild.
Primary research is into monetary issues. Barring some nasty surprises everything looks good.
I want to get this done before the weather gets really bad.... I'm not very experienced doing stuff like this, but I feel quite up to the task.
Just got no idea how long this project will take me...
Hoping someone can give me some numbers... :)

Done this job a couple of times, allow a day with some help from a mate. No need to totaly remove hard top just free at rear and sides remove the rear door and all three door seals then with some timber prop up roof high enough to get drill in to remove rivets, pivoting on wind screen hinges [if later fixed type just loosen them off some] If you can find some then series 109 cappings fit [have to be shortened] Do not expect all the pop rivet holes to line up with replacments some will need redrilling
