Nowt wrong with the v8s
I love them just need tlc like any other car. You niglect it, it will break down. Sure ther thirsty but you can't expect to buy a car like a Rangerover and expect it to be cheep to run
Becides the other day i towed my mates 2.0 vectra up a hill at 70 mph he later told me he can only get 70 mph up the same hill under its own power! how many cars can do that?

A chipped diesel P38 would do the same without draining the last of the North Sea oil reserves:p:p:p
True you get the ocasional diesel overheating but it's usually viscous fan, water pump, stat or rad, all cheap, very ocasionally it's a cracked head, even that is a fraction of the cost to fix compared to a slipped liner and driving around in a gas fired bomb just has no appeal when you can get 24 to 30mpg in the diesel, even with a lead foot they still do 20mpg arond and about.:D

Your right Clarkie, its just done me lol still waiting for my airbags to arrive......Im riding round on the bump stops....Is this normal behaviour lol
