Dashboard Warning Lights

Re- 04 Disco V8 es Premium.... on starting up the green letter M and S Surrounded by dots stay on and flash. If i switch of and on again it clears. Its intermittent , did it once a month ago, but several times over the last few days...no manual to check...any ideas would be most Appreciated.Thanks.

The first thing I would be doing is charging up the main car battery - give it a really good charge.

Secondly, when you start the car leave it to idle for a few seconds before touching the gear lever.

The fault you have is well-known and often caused by insufficient voltage to the gearbox ECU, hence the recharge of the battery.

Thanks for your reply. Its took a lot off my mind as i was thinking, everytime i drove it , lights would suddenly all go Red and cause it to stop....really i was spending too much time glancing at the dashboard...will charge up the Battery....Thank you very much..Brian
