D2 Immobiliser / Key reprogramming

I have a problem with the immobiliser on my Discovery 2 TD5.
The keys would not work the central locking or start the engine.
I entered the security code in the driver's door lock as per the instruction manual and it now starts but the key fob still doesn't work on the locking.
Do I need to get the keys reprogrammed or is there another way to sort this ?

They need to be programmed.

No it doesn't have to be a main dealer, anyone with a Nanocom or Nano EVO can do it for you.

If you Google D2 Boys Club, go to the forum and look up the Nanocom locator, you'll find someone (a D2 owner) close to you. Most peeps do it just to be helpful, they are not garages.
