1515 worked on a few other UK Discos I've tried it on but I've been told before by others that there was no way 1515 could have worked.

FYI... 1515 was normally the standard EKA for NAS Disco 2s.
The gist is that for any code to work it must be saved in the BCU... so if 1515 worked it means that was the saved code... it's like when you introduce the password to acces a site, it must be what's saved cos there is no "generic" password to override the saved one if you see what i mean.

Another thing that might help someone out there who would need to confirm if the fob is working. Set your TV analogue tuner to 433Mhz and it should be able to detect the presence of the fob's RF signal when pressing any of the buttons. Depending on your TV model, the indicator is usually a signal strength / signal quality bar that moves whenever the frequency is locked by the tuner. When I did this, I connected the TV to a short dipole antenna that I made from a piece of antenna cable with the core and shield separated in a horizontal arrangement. Then you simply point the fob directly at the antenna.
Just don't do it when wifey is trying to watch Bargain Hunt!;)
