D1 rear demist swich unit location

D1 300tdi 1997 jap re import,need to find location of rear screen demister voltage-sense unit. Looks like a standard LR relay,thought it was in the O/S/F kick panel.....but it aint.

Not the dash on/off switch.Did a search but no joy.Havent got access to my workshop book or Rave where I am at the mo.Any ideas?

Voltage sense unit ? what is it used with regard a HRW as it's not shown in the diagrams.
The HRW relay is indeed located behind the drivers kick panel on a RH drive vehicle according to the diagrams.

Its a voltage sensitive switch,the thing that turns the HRW on and off....

prc 4427,yellow cube....maybe its the thing thats listed as the relay....I shall have to look again

PRC 4427 a voltage sensitive switch is listed in the D1 parts book but the location isn't stated but looks ruffly around the fuse box area. It's listed under relays up to VIN LA081991. thats 1994MY so not a 300 series. The 300 series has an MFU to control the timed electrical circuits.

multi Function Unit MFU is pluged into the rear of the fuse box and coloured black on early 300s and cream coloured on later 300s.
