Aye Up,

I’ve recently changed the bumper on my D1 to a winch type.

The old headlamp washers were quite tall and vulnerable (one had already been repaired with BMT!)

I had already been thinking of replacing them with a lower profile one i.e. D2 version.

Has anyone done this?

If so -

Is the D2 pipe feed the same diameter as D1?
Are the D2 jets adjustable?
Does the D1 pump put out enough oomph for the D2 jets to reach/clean a potentially mud caked headlamp?

Has anyone used an even better washer jet which does the job without altering the original D1 pipework?

I’m aware of the very low profile D3 version but it seems quite expensive compared to D2s that I have seen.

Thanks

No idea, I jump out now and again and give them a wipe with me sleeve, it's worked well for over 2 decades.

Lots of the audi ones are pop up jobbies working on the water pressure, maybe worth a look?
