Well the saga continues.... fixed one problem and now have another mystery to solve.
Just took it for a trip towing the trailer. After changing out the propshaft all the drivetrain vibration is gone, but there's still a weird shudder that comes and goes in a regular on/off cycle. Eg 20 secs shudder, the n 20 secs gone. Repeating continuously, starting only above 100kph.
When the shudder is on, you can feel and see it in both the steering wheel and the dash.
Without the trailer, it's completely fine, no shudder at all.
Any ideas?
I've still to do the wheel alignment, and I might check the wheels & tyres on the trailer too.
The funny thing is, towing the same trailer with a different car, there is no shudder at all. The other car does have a much higher hitch though as compared to the disco.
