obviously im new to landys, only owning my for just over a month now, its very addictive trying to find new bits and spending money, start with it already has a inch and half lift with springs and shocks, but what else needs doing, iv being looking at some cranked trailing arms from adrenline4x4
LAND ROVER DISCOVERY 1 CRANKED TRAILING ARMS +4IN LIFT | eBay

they say +4 inch extra list, what else would need changing if i were to purchase some, not neccesary these particular ones, just using them as an example, would i need to add dislocation cones, just need some to enlighten me on all this lifting stuff as im getting puzzled :/

you'll find they are required with a 4 inch lift so wouldn't be suitable for your 1.5" lift... you'd probably be better off with 3 degree cranked arms if you wanted to go down that road... then you can start looking at wide angled props, poly bushes, heavy duty shock/spring mounts, dislocation cones etc etc... depends how far you want to go with it.

for less than 2" lift you don't need cranked trailing arms or wide angke props. or extenbded brake lines or owt else for that matter. remove antiroll bars if not already done. If the car is your daily driver I wouldn't do P&P sites in it. Unless you have plenty of cash to repair it everytime you go to one.

Rear dislocation cones might be an idea and extended bump stops.

Haha are pay and play sites that bad ?

Pay and play can be bad! I used my daily driver.... It's not like it used to be now lol. Has doubled my amount of money in the car just for repairs.

I've taken my daily driver to p+p sites, first time I went I ripped the top of me snorkel off, clogged the alternator up, clogged the throttle cable up and made it so muddy I had to wash inside and out twice then take it to the local polish car wash place to make it anywhere near as clean as it was before - depends how self-disciplined you are! I'm not very... i see mud and I have to try n drive through it

may as well get some "2 springs on there if you wanna start messing around with cranked arms etc as redhand says, makes it all the more fun - just make sure you got some money in the bank for when it all goes wrong... cos it will at some point
