All three courtesy lights work if you switch them to the on position but only the rear light works as a courtesy light when a door is opened. I know this is only a minor problem but it would be nice to get it fixed now the nights are starting to draw in. Also on the last discovery I had, I'm sure there was a way to put your headlights on before leaving the car and they would stay on for around 30 seconds. Cheers for any help

For the courtesy headlamps to work you should keep the lock button on the fob pressed for more than 1 second, about the interior courtesy lights i dont understand what's the problem, the boot area lamp doesnt have a switch from factory, it works only on automatic mode and the others have 3 positions and you have to switch them to automatic not off... unless there's some bodge made there cos they all have the same permannent feed and the earth path from BCU to all 3 lamps is on the same wire untill it splits before them

I have front middle and rear roof lights. The front light and the rear light have the three settings( on off and courtesy). The centre light only has on off position. When any of the doors are opened only the rear light comes on. All three lamps work if you put the switch into the on position but its just the rear that lights up with the doors

it seems that the whole setup is a bit mixed there, anyway, the purple/blue wire pin 8 in the attached connector is the common earth path for automatic mode, the purple pin 18 is permannent feed as long as one works it means the problem is where it splits to the lamps or in the clusters, follow only the purple/blue wires from pins 7 - front lamp, 10 - rear and 9 - boot... when the one in the boot works you should have voltage between purple(+) and all those pins if you see what i mean
