I'm just in the process of fitting new calipers on a 1990 defender. In this thread, https://www.landyzone.co.uk/land-rover/seized-caliper-bolts.388434/page-2, there is a nice photo showing the coarse vs fine thread caliper bolts.
I have the coarse bolts on mine, complete with spring washers.
I'm trying to figure out fitting instructions... I read in various places to use thread lock and torque to 82Nm. I suspect they are describing the fine thread version and that no thread lock is required for the coarse bolt as it has a spring washer.
Can anyone help with what's required for the coarse bolts? Is it tightened to the same torque? I was planning to use a smidgen of copper slip/anti seize on the thread and shoulder of the bolt.
Thanks

Just tighten up with a usual length ratchet handle and socket.
If your bolts are original worth getting a new set.
Some come with pre applied thread lock. [no spring washer used] Not only does it keep em in but is better than using copper slip and still makes next removal better as keeps corrosion at bay.

In my workshop manual there is 'Brake caliper to swivel housing', which I assumed was the right thing when doing mine and it states 120-150 Nm. That's with the course threaded bolts with spring washers.

Also I never realised until doing it there were two different threads, I'd ordered new fine threaded bolts so ended up just having to reuse the old ones instead
