Evening all,

I don't normally frequent the Defender section being a Disco owner - sorry.

My niece is planning to buy a 110 and has asked me about the best child seat. She wants to use an Isofix seat. Would a 12 plate Defender be able to take an Isofix seat? If not, what seat would you recommend? Any advice gratefully received.

Rob

Pretty sure that no Defender is Isofix compatible ( though you'll probably be able to use an Isofix seat with the traditional seat belt attachment ).
A seat belt extender is a good purchase, as the buckle receivers can get lost between the seats!

Child seats vary for ages (more weight really) of child. I wouldn't have an iso fix without iso fix points.

Isofix can be retro fitted easily in any normal car at the mounts bolt in to the existing seat belt points.

The issue you'll have is the fact the rear seats are so high up compared to the seat belt mounts.
