This symbol pops up when i am driving, and i take my foot off the accelerator the engine then "cuts-out"/loses power momentarily and then regains power if i place my foot on the accelerator again. Can anyone tell me what this symbol means and if there is a fix... any help appreciated.

It means there is a fault being generated in the engine ECU. You don't say what car you have, but diagnostics is the way forwards.

Possible inj no.4 or CPS sensor...time for diagnostics....

Could also be the FIP.
