Do you know anyone who works on trucks for a living, my mate does and he just orderd 20 air bags for the HGV trailers and got me 4 air springs for £ 160.00

Having a bit of lunch. Tiling the neighbours bathroom..anything for a few bob, then have to unlock a BECM that a main stealer has sent over....Test Book has it's limitations! suppose they will charge some poor punter a fortune..unless they want to sell it on as a new one. It's the latest part no. so they could get away with it, still I get a few bob for 2hours work and they will send a courier for it tomorrow.:behindsofa::tea:

Clips? what clips? oooopps i think i have forgot to order them, thought they'd come with the springs.

unfortunatly not and the old ones tend to break when you remove them.

If you ordered them off Egay, you will find a listing for the full set of clips.
I hope that your old springs don't have aluminium end caps!!!! and have a look at your rear brake pipes whilst you are doing the springs.

From what I have seen on here, most of the end caps are plastic, which obviously don't corrode. Mine were the originals and had been on since '97. Hopefully, you will have better lock than I did!!
Rather than struggle with the fronts, I unclipped the wheel arch cover and getting to the top clips was a doddle. They don't get rusty unless the car has done a fair bit of off roading, that said, you are better off replacing them for what they cost (Peanuts).

like john said the clips are only peanuts to buy,so get them,it is always better to have them and not need them than it is to need them and not have them sort of speak.
