Hi All. Just been busy finding right vehicle for caravan towing.
Had a 4 ltr Disco, thirsty and quite tatty but worked in every way.
Thought Jeep Cherokee may have been answer
WRONG.
Handling awful, diesel noisy and comfort questionable . Looked good in silver, but wife said had to go, so its went.
Now got '02 Disco, TD5 Series 2, in silver.
Very clean all round, with 7 seats, history looks good, been on 2 plates, now I will be making it 3 when personal plate transfer comes back from DVLA. Got tow gear so ready for caravan.
Nice drive on leather seats, no obvious faults, but do need handbook to find out how it all works.
