No 928 not rare. 928s manuals are though. Most 928s were autos. Very few were manuals.

The 928 Mad? All the steel body is galvanised and the rest is aluminium. Mine has a blemish here and there but nothing major. If i ever get round to sorting it that is.

Manual boxes are indeed very rare on the 928 as is body rot. Its usually underbonnet fires or the crazy price and non availability of important electrical bits that kills them off.
