no its were its been sitting on top of the gearbox and the heat has melted through.

gearbox doesnt get that hot to melt cable and still drive
bl,oody hell! ill give it another try tommorow if not i guess im going to have to fork out for one! thanks for the help people!

if you have poor earths current when starting can melt sheathing on cables such as yours generally hand brake cable
