There is no fuse in it!!!! Hopefully this is going to be an easy fix, got a couple of fuses in the shed any idea on rating?

Ok guys put a blue fuse in C3 where it was missing and my hazards come on and won't go off until I remove the fuse, when I operate driver's door lock, none of the others work with it, any ideas :s

Sounds like the fob was lost and the alarm box has been overridden.

What has the fob got to do with it? the remote function was an option on the 200 series security systems, the system doesn't need a fob unlike the passive system of the 300 series.

Flashing of the hazards and being unable to use the central locking is an indication of the inertia crash sensor having activated.
You may also have an unknown electrical problem of course.

Gone one on it's way to me in the post :D

Can you reset the inertia switch if that is the problem?

Glad u said "if that is the problem" because who knows" :D

Resetting is simple just turn the ignition switch on-off-on again.

Activating can happen if u hit a bump hard, or even knocking the security ECU under the dash where the inertia system is.

CATS (Computer Anti-Theft System) another name for a coded head unit. I hope u have the four digit code :D

I will have to have a look tomorrow after I drag it out of the driveway and jump start it as my battery is near flat, not enough charge to even turn it over :( Then I can have a go at the reset sequence and have a look under the door card

Oh and I have a ****ty head unit at the moment that doesn't even fit, wires everywhere and the aerial has snapped off on the front wing so no radio, only found out after I aquired it!
