Hello,

For a few years my alarm has been setting off sporadically now and then. Then lately my cl started to unlock itself randomly, until it would then unlock itself immediately when locking with fob. So i turned the alarm off and lock with key. I need to lock both sides separately with key, when locking from driver side, passanger does not react.

I have replaced both actuators, door sill switches and jumped the bonnet switch with a wire and the problem remains.

Any idea where to dig in next?

Its a hcpu pickup so only two doors.

Cheers,

Hi. Jumping the bonnet switch with a wire is a misslock situation cos the bonnet or door switches are N/O while the bonnet or doors are closed and they close the contact when one of them is opened so if the vehicle was modified and the missing door switches were jumped you have to open all those circuits otherwise the alarm ECU might disable the central locking on a misslock default as the bonnet and all the doors except the driver door are on the same circuit if you see what i mean

Aah, ok, thanks. Yeah I tried with the wire and without.. how would you eliminate the bonnet switch to see if that would be the issue? Or is replacing it the only option?

Simply unplug the switch, then it appears as closed for the ECU.... but if any of the missing doors is closed circuit the problem is the same though it still can be an alarm ECU fault too

Thanks, I will try that one more time. I tried to go thru the as10 settings with nanocom to see if I would spot something off there, but however I set it the problem remains. It’s gone from randomly doing it to now rock solid every time bouncing open the locks when trying to lock with fob. I have also greased all the links etc. in case of mechanic obstruction, the passenger barrel was a little seized but I got it back in working. Nothing made a difference,

Does anything come to your mind in the as10 settings that might be worth taking a look at that could be causing the behavior?

Check in the inputs menu with the doors/bonnet closed if the inputs are all the same then open one at the time and watch the inputs then
