Freelander 2 (LR2) CDs and MP3s

For them that don’t know, the CD player in an FL2 can play MP3 files. A 700 Mb disc can hold 140 to 160 MP3 tracks. With 6 CDs in the auto changer that’s ~ 900 tracks!
You lose the ability to change randomly across all 6 CDs, but can still go random on one CD.

That sounded like a lot of music for 1 CD, when a music CD you buy in the shops normally only has a dozen or so songs on it.

I googled it though and you're right. Learn something every day

They're compressed GG so quality isn't as good, although that's probably not noticed in a car.
