Mine does this on occasion , I just wiggle the whole cassette mech ( which is suspended within the case) and most of the time it frees off and away you go - this by the way is the same problem I've had with the P38 unit, however the aftermarket sony in our old car worked for years. While on the subject, whats the score with the Alpine CHA-S634 CD changer, which plays MP3 encoded discs and is a direct replacement for the original one? Just having 6 discs is rather boring on a long trip
. Also read somthing about getting an ipod to work but you need a special lead and an intravee box? Has anyone done either of these mods and if so have they put them on a post anywhere?
Thanks in advance.
