And yes LED's have come on along recently and gone down in price luckily lol
 
You kinda have to lift the carrier off the top and push the L shaped slide on the front towards the left. To be honest i cant explain it, it is a case of persistance and trial and error. Mine has done it twice, the next time it does it i will leave it an get an ipod link instead!!

Thanks will give it a shot later. If you hear screaming and yelling it didn't work, if you hear the pop of a bottle lid , it worked :)
 
YES!!! It's out! Looks like the issue is that the mechanism is stuck. A bit of pushing the mechanism back and forwards, then tweeking the disc drawer back into the cassette and it was popped out into my grubby paws. The mechanism , is stuck halfway and won't go 'up'. So it can live as it is whilst I'm away and I'll get a new unit when i come back.

Old?? Old?? :D

Just looked on IMDB, and now I do feel old....Bill and Ted came out in 1989 - I was 11...OK, I now feel old....man was it really that long ago??? I was thinking more like mid '90s, but in late '80's....I need a stiff drink and a sit down...!!!:eek:

Oh hell now I feel old as I was ummm a 'little' older than 11 when it came out :eek:
 
Thought I'd give this thread a poke and wake it up. Anyone know a decent ICE company, in West of Scotland/Glasgow area,who can take out my CD changer and repair/replace. I've spoken to the main stealer and they are asking silly money and have said it's because they outsource the work. Didn't tell me who they outsource to though :(
