Just helped my mate fit a cb radio into his 90 because he was struggling, it's no different from wiring in a car radio red and black wires and a 5 amp fuse red-live, black-neg.

It requires the antenna swr setting up but this is easy the worst bit was he paid over £100.00 for a rig and antenna!

Guys e bay is the place plenty for cheap money and antennas & if local to you go pick up and see it working my mate needs to give his head a shake.!!

The antenna has a mag mount or there are gutter mounts & drill in cab mounts plenty at radio shops or e bay.

I is confused

why spend £100 on a new Cb when yu can pick new ones up for £40?

why spend £40 on a used and unknown quantity of Ebay when yu can , for the same money, get one with a warranty?

please explain what you are trying to say. if yu know so much about CB's why dint yo mate ask yu before he bought one?
