Cave Driving in Les Cinq Pilier, France

Got back Sunday night after a couple days cave driving in France. The place was intense. Glad I got my rocksliders on! Landy was great, didn't skip a beat. Did have a puncture this morning though but not bad considering!

Wow!! Just fkn wow! I bet the noise and dust in those tunnels was intense!

It was pretty noisy down there - sounded nasty when my car jumped out of diff lock a couple times. It was really cold as well - about 10-12 degrees. Even though it was blazing hot outside, you could see your breath in the air.

I loved it, once I got over the worries about breaking my car! haha

How did you get there, who set it up, how much did it cost, when we going ????

We went with the four wheel drive club www.fourwheeldriveclub.com

It was £150 for a car and two people, plus £10 each for passengers. Included ferry from dover, BBQ dinner, BBQ breakfast, BBQ lunch and camping on the site for the night. I'll try and find out who they had to arrange it through!

PM me the route details that looks good.. Might have to organise an LZ caving trip

You didn't happen to have a gps/memory map running did you .. or would you send me a route please??? Be very interested in doing that, maybe get a LZ group tour going ..

Be a bit fooking cheaper than the 4WD club anorl..

I didn't have my GPS running on the way but I know roughly where to go. It's out in the middle of nowhere though! We met up with a guide at a supermarket and he took us the rest of the way.

Same here, be very interested in running a trip. Can you give us even just where they are near? Town etc .. I'll try to do the rest ..

the place is apparently an offroad P&P in an old quarry about 2hrs north of Calais.
