Don't trust him. He'll have eaten the lot and claim it melted and escaped during transit. Midget Gems don't melt. Just picture them and imagine the taste explosion on your tongue.

Stupid question but how come the old 3.9 EFi engines didn't seem to have any of these issues?

    They do ;)

Not many around now so you seldom hear of them, the 4.0 Gems and 3.9 "classic" is the same engine both 3.960cc just a slightly different Engine management system on the P38 :D

Yep the bodies usually let go before the engine does on the RRC ;)

No colour coded bumpers on my MY2000, but then it's a DHSE not a Vogue.:D

Ah, another option then. Probably easier to fit parking sensors too.

I quite like it yes a little rusty, they all are surface rusted. Bumpers grille look like they’ve had no treatment - good sign it’s not tarted up and genuine original condition as opposed to hiding something for quick buck.

Not colour coded on my 2001 vogue either.

That looks like a reasonable punt with those low miles, but what’s reserve? Is the big question.

Looks like new exhaust and few parts so probably too much. For right price not bad starter project. Not red though :)

Almost every detail of an Autobiography is spec'd by the owner, so an add on in this instance was cc'd bumpers ;)

    I've driven a 4.6 and it's pretty gutsy.

Can't imagine a Unit with half the power would be as thrilling ;)

    And MPG?! whats that?? ;)

Do you measure in GPM's, you would if you drove a 4.6 the way I drove my weasel

foot to the carpet with a loaded 3.5t trailer on the back she still pulled clean and quick, not too fast mind you across a farm track through a field ;)

The V8 however doesn't need to be worked hard to move ;) :D
