canbus LED'S W5W leds these are OK with a no error on the dash? apparently you can get ones that go behind the hevac (like blue) and you have blue a readout anyone know if this it right? anyone tried them, thinking of getting a bunch for the puddle lights and interior, not so much side lights or anything like that (OK maybe the licence plate lights) seems a nice upgrade I know the puritans will nail me to the cross for this and use harsh words such as "why" (you dont scare me) I will give it a bash

I have replaced the lights in the Hevac/switches with leds.No change to display colour.No message centre codes.Pretty sure there are no "bulb fail" mesages with these anyway.
Just remember that the leds are polarized and will only work if inserted the correct way.
OK I was kinda toying with the idea of having a blue dash, but I think (well it kinda look like it anyway) that its a green screen? it must be cuz you dont put green bulbs in do you? there clear, and the dash come up green, so you cant change that... shame
I've got blue dials (speedo etc.), with glowing white needles. Dials turn off when I go to high beam just leaving the needles.
Oh and a multi-coloured EAS height switch.
Sod the traditionalists it's my toy.
My (led) puddle lights are augmented with a three foot strip of led's under each side step, all of my interior lights are now led panels including an extra one in the passenger footwell, and two in the boot space, and there's a one foot strip of red led's on the trailing edge of each front door.

ive done the sidelights and the interior lights with the leds. super bright interior lights that no longer get hot and bright white side lights not yellow :cool2: no error messages
