Hi, just a quick one really! Has anybody used rover 25/45 L series injectors in a freelander L series? The part numbers are slightly different Rover 45 is Bosch 0432193601and the Freelander is 0432193701 and as far as I can tell the nozzles and opening pressures are slightly different. I just wondered if anyone else had done this and if so were they ok?

think the answers in your own question chap.

If the nozzles and opening pressures are different, it's not going to run right, if at all.

the ecu can only compensate for so much, but it would be struggling to start with.

mmmm I thought that because of the differences it may have a little less power with a little better economy but you never really know until you try it!

You'll never know the answer until you try it. however I would change all four not just the one for balance issues. Try it and let us know how you get on. When I spent some time out in the bush in South Africa many years ago we would salvage/cannibalise different parts off anything we could get our hands on Land-rovers were/would accommodate virtually any part.

Ive decided to play it safe and buy some freelander ones but I might buy a set of new rover 45 ones and swap the nozzles off my old ones and adjust the opening pressure (when the pop tester at work gets fixed!) then I will have some new injectors at a fraction of the cost! :)
